Experiencing Motion using Rolling Technique

Dip balls made of a variety of loose parts such as grass, yarn, thread and clay in paint. Roll these balls inside the blank box given below. Observe the difference in imprints created by the rolling action. Discuss with your friends how each motion was different from the other.

On the sheet

Features a large blank rectangular box for rolling paint-dipped loose-parts balls, with a small panel of illustrative items (balls, yarn, paint tray) on the left. Children roll the balls in the box and observe the paint imprints.
