Exploring the concept of number composition

Count and write the number value of dots given in the top section of each box over the red lines. Write the sum total of these in the lower section on blue line. Draw the total number of dots across and join the dots to create a shape. An example is given below for your reference.

On the sheet

Features 6 sections. Each section has two small boxes on top containing colored dots and red lines to write their counts. Below is a larger box with a blue line to write the sum, where the child draws the total dots and connects them to form a geometric shape (e.g. 2 dots + 1 dot = 3 dots, forming a triangle as shown in the example).
