Revising concept of number composition

Construct a three nib pen by joining three earbuds with an elastic. Dip the pen in paint and print marks equal to the number values given in red and blue circles. Count the sum total of both circles and write the number value in the green circles.

On the sheet

Features 6 sections of three intersecting circles (purple, red, green). In each section, numbers are written above the purple and red circles (e.g. 6 and 9). The first section is filled as an example showing purple and red printed dots and "15" in the green circle. The child uses paint-dipped earbuds to print marks in the purple and red circles, then writes the total sum in the green circle.
