Exploring Consistency of paint with More and Less Quantile of Water

Colour a leaf with brush without adding any water in the paint and cast it’s imprint inside the first box. Take some paint, mix one teaspoon of water in it and colour another leaf with it. Mark it’s imprint inside the second box. Observe the changes. In the third box mark imprint of a third leaf with even thinner paint, with two teaspoons of water. Observe if all three imprints are same or different and how.

On the sheet

Features three large vertical red-bordered boxes labeled 1, 2, and 3, each decorated with a small faded maple leaf. The child performs a sensory leaf-printing science experiment, water-diluting paint progressively in each box to observe and compare paint consistency.
