Place to sheet on an empty box. Take a thick stick, wrap it's tip in cotton and make a natural brush. Dip the tip in paint and tap the sheet rhyming with the chant -tip, tap, toe. Help the learner observe the sound coming from the empty box and the sound made by the brush on the sheet.
