Expressing Spring and Autumn seasons through art

If you are to choose a happy feature of spring season what would it be? A blossoming flower, a chirping bird or a dancing butterfly! Think of any such idea, draw and colour it with yourself as the creature and decorate it using loose parts of your choice, in the left section of the page. Go for a short walk in your surroundings and collect yellow, brown, orange, ochre colour leaves, petals, grass, fruits and more natural parts. Creatively use these to compose an autumn season scene in the right section of the sheet.

On the sheet

The sheet has two large drawing columns: 'Spring' on the left and 'Autumn' on the right. In the Spring column are small drawings of children dressed as insects (butterfly, flower, ladybug). In the Autumn column, a hand is shown drawing leaves and petals. Children collect natural objects (like leaves, grass, petals) to decorate their drawings/scenes.
